THE MATSUI – SINGLE MALT WHISKEY
AGED IN JAPANESE SAKURA CHERRY BARREL

The Matsui – Sakura Cask is a single malt distilled by the
Kurayoshi distillery, located in Tottori prefecture. The
Matsui – Sakura single malt is aged in sakura barrels, the famous and iconic Japanese cherry tree. This tree holds a
important place in Japanese culture, often
used as a metaphor to emphasize character
ephemeral of beauty but also of life. He has always been
source of inspiration for Japanese artists.
Double distillation in Pot Still then aged in sakura barrels
in Tottori prefecture, in a natural environment
and favorable to aging. This whiskey is then reduced
with natural spring water from Mount Daisen.
A masterpiece carefully crafted with heart and

TASTING NOTES:
DRESS: Light yellow.
NOSE : Rich and gourmand, distinguished with notes of white flowers and
sweet spices (vanilla, cinnamon).
MOUTH: A character which after a few seconds reveals itself straight, rich and warm.
FINAL: Long, very floral finish.
