Mild Mizuho 5 years old is an aged Awamori (“Kusu”) in a jar
ceramic, produced by the Mizuho Distillery on the island of Okinawa in
the Ryukyu archipelago. Awamori is the oldest spirit
Japanese. From a unique distillation from Thai rice
and which requires the use of a special strain of mold
necessary during fermentation, Koji. Type Awamoris
“Kusu” must be aged for at least 3 years and is closer to old Whiskeys or Brandies!

TASTING NOTES:
DRESS : Amber.
NOSE : Delicate bouquet, steamed rice and fresh fruit mingle with
notes of freshly picked white mushrooms.
MOUTH: Softness with sweet hints.
FINAL : Round, complex, slight bitterness.
