Made in Japan
Manufactured in Japan by the Yoshikawa Group, located in Niigata Prefecture, this pan represents the excellence of Japanese metal manufacturers since 1952. With COOK-PAL, you can enjoy the performance of carbon steel without the hassle of traditional seasoning.
COOK-PAL is the ideal solution for both novice and experienced cooks, offering superior cooking performance with reduced maintenance.
No Need to Burn the Coating
The steel surface is not coated with a rust-resistant layer, unlike products finished with a transparent lacquer. Therefore, the tedious process of burning off the coating is not required, and the product can be used as is.
High-Temperature Heat-Treated Steel Plate Features
When a steel surface is strengthened with a special high-temperature heat treatment, an oxidized layer is formed that is five times harder than normal steel. This layer covers the entire surface and penetrates the steel. As a result, no coating peels off when the surface comes in contact with a spatula or metal brush, unlike resin-coated pans.
Burn-Resistant and Rust-Resistant Ingredients
The oxidized layer on the steel surface has several small pores. The oil penetrates these holes, preventing ingredients from burning. Since the product is resistant to rust, maintenance is easy—simply rinse with hot water and wipe dry with a cloth.
Additional Steel Content for High Flame Cooking and Absorption
The steel that is released from the pan during cooking adds additional steel content to the ingredients. The product can be used with high heat as it is made from very durable steel. As a result, you can fry ingredients quickly to achieve a crispy texture.
